About TPP
History, formation, badge, pledge, and the Purple Dot idea.
A party idea built around values, not celebrity.
The Philanthropist Party was first conceived in 2006 by Eric Melin of Cambridge, Massachusetts. The concept grew from frustration with political establishments and a desire to support leaders who remain transparent about values over time.
More than 200 people attended the first annual Philanthropist Party at Harvard's Peabody Museum in Harvard Square. Additional backstory, event photos, and credibility-building materials can be added here later.
The Badge, TPP Card & Certificate
Approved applicants may display the TPP Badge in digital locations. A printed certificate or wallet card can be offered later as part of the applicant record and public pledge.
